John Bushar
Realtor
I started in real estate from the ground up — literally. Before I was an agent, I ran a property maintenance company doing REO cleanouts, repairs, and getting foreclosed homes market-ready for banks and asset managers. By the time I got my license, I'd already spent thousands of hours inside homes — fixing them, evaluating them, and learning what buyers should love and what they should run from.
Running a business taught me something that translates directly to real estate: how to negotiate. Not the pushy, high-pressure kind — the kind where you actually understand what both sides need and find the path that gets your client the win.
I'm also a lifelong volunteer firefighter, which tells you something about how I operate. You show up, you do the work, you don't cut corners, and you're there when it matters most. That's how I treat every client — with consistent communication, straight answers, and the kind of accessibility that most agents just don't offer.
No scripts. No runaround. Just someone who treats you like an intelligent adult and actually picks up the phone.
